Munition (JDAM) Systems Program Office, Air Armament Center (AAC),
Eglin AFB, Florida, plans to contract to Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO,
for JDAM integration support on the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). Boeing
Company is the current JDAM contractor, and has sole responsibility
for design and warranty of the JDAM weapon system. Boeing is not
required to furnish a technical data package to the Systems Program
Office, and therefore a data package is not available to furnish to
anyone to allow them to accomplish the JDAM integration on JSF. The
scope of this effort shall include procurement of separation and
enhanced guidance test vehicles along with technical support from
Boeing for the actual conduct of the test. Direct all questions and
routine communication concerning this acquisition to Ms. Audrea J.
Majors, Contracting Officer, (850) 882-3525, Ext 3070. An ombudsman has
been appointed to address concerns relating to this acquisition. The
Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or
contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues,
disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government
personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict
confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not
participate in the evaluation process. Contractors who have concerns
about this acquisition that can not be addressed by the program office
