The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Region 7 -- Alaska) seeks to establish an Indefinite Quantity, Option Year contract for fuel (AVGAS, Unleaded Gasoline, and Building Heating Fuel) supply and delivery to our Koyukuk/Nowitna National Wildlife Refuge in the vicinity of Galena, Alaska, throughout all seasons of the year. This site is very remote, isolated and difficult to reach. Persuant to numbered Note 22, the Service anticipates sending an invitation for bid to the Yukon Fuel Company (Anchorage, Alaska) and presently knows of no other sources capable of meeting our requirement.
