874-5034 The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to
issue a delivery order against the Library of Congress' FEDLINK Basic
Ordering Agreement (BOA) to purchase DowVision, which provides
comprehensive coverage of up to the minute business and financial news,
(ie, the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Financial Times, etc.)
for up to 3,000 authorized OCC employees from Dow Jones Company. It is
anticipated that the period of performance for this service will
continue for 12 months after award. This notice of intent is not a
request for competitive proposals. However, unless affirmative
responses are received in writing within 15 days after publication of
this synopsis indicating that a source exists which would be more
favorable to the agency, the OCC will issue an order against the
FEDLINK BOA. Responses should include full costing information, as well
as descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation
to establish a bonafide capacity to meet the requirement. A
determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract
based upon responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of
the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the
purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No
