COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF OCTOBER 29,1998 PSA#2211REQUEST FOR CONTRABAND DRUG DETECTION INFORMATION Sandia National
Laboratories, Albuquerque, New Mexico, with funding from the National
Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), is producing a document
to give a comprehensive overview of currently available contraband drug
detection equipment and technologies in terms that will be useful to a
wide range of law enforcement agencies. Included will be information
on trace detection, x-ray-based systems, personnel screening portals,
and other novel techniques used for contraband drug detection.
Currently, Sandia is soliciting information from companies interested
in having their products or technology included in this document.
Please limit your response to only those products or technologies that
are presently or will be available within six months. Please send the
information via mail, fax, or electronic mail by December 18, 1998 to
