Juvenile shelter care services sought for unaccompanied juveniles in the care of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, to be performed in accordance with applicable Federal, state and local laws, ACA standards, policies and procedures, or court orders. Services are to be provided for juvenile detainees with no criminal backgrounds. Ages range from infants to 17 years old. Based on the requirements for the locales listed, provider must have at least one qualified staff member on duty at all times, who is bilingual in English and the second language required. Facilities must be located or built within 20 miles of the El Paso, TX INS District Office (Spanish), 20 miles of the Houston, TX INS District Office (Spanish), 40 miles of the Harlingen, TX INS District Office (Spanish), 30 miles of the Dallas, TX INS District Office (Spanish), 20 miles of the Chicago, IL INS District Office (Chinese), and within 30 miles of the San Antonio, TX INS District Office (Spanish).
