The contractor will provide all of the personnel and equipment necessary to train Air Force aircrew members in E-4B/747 flying procedures. This includes a qualified instructor, the aircraft, fuel, landing fees, etc. This does not include simulator training which is provided under a separate contract. Place of performance will be proposed by contractors. Contract will consist of one basic year of performance and one option year with approximately 240 hours of instruction/wetlease per year. Contract type will be Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours. A draft solicitation will be available on the internet for comments on or about 2 Nov 98. Interested offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the final solicitation and any amendments from the ACC CONS Bulletin Board on the internet. The anticipated release date of the final solicitation is 23 Nov 98. It isthe offeror's responsibility to monitor the internet for the solicitation release.
