The US Navy has a requirement for the fabrication of 65 each Low Noise Amplifiers. Fabrication will be in accordance with Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division drawings and specifications. A minimum of the following aspects apply: Stabilization Bake in accordance with MIL-STD 883 Method 1008, 24 hours at 150 degrees C; Temperature Cycling MIL-STD-883 Method 1010 Condition C, minus 65 degrees C to plus 150 degrees C, 10 cycles; Mechanica Shock MIL-STD-883 Method 2002 Condition B, Y1 only, 1500 Gs 0.5 mS, half sine pulse; Burn -In MIL-STD-883 Method 1015 (Bias applied, No RF Power, 188 hours at +95 degrees C. Frequency range 243 MHz to 270 MHz, VSWR input 2.0:1 maximum, VSWR output 2.0:1 maximum, DC Power plus 19.5 volts, 80 mA. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Mechanical Requirements, weight 50 grams maximum, enclosure type hermetically sealed enclosure. The required delivery is 6 months after contract award. Shipping terms are F.O.B destination with inspection and acceptance at destination. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items in this solicitation. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose quotation is the most advantageous to the Government considering price and price-related factors. The offers will be evaluated on the following factors: Technical specification compliance, past performance and price. Technical specification compliance and past performance are equal, and when taken together are significantly more important than price. The Contractor shall provide past performance for same/similar products/specifications with other Government Agencies, public or local Government for the past three years.
