G -- VOCATIONAL EDUCATIONAL COUNSELING SERVICES SOL RFP 600-013-99 DUE 121798 POC Grace Kim, Contracting Officer, (562) 494-5828 FAX Contractor will provide Vocational Educational, PL-102 Counseling Services to eligible beneficiaries located in Oceanside and San Diego, California areas for the Vocational Rehabilitation and Counseling Division, Department of Veterans Affairs Regional Office San Diego. The primary purpose of the Vocational Educational Counseling is to assist the counselee to develop a realistic obtainable career path. The process is an assessment which is a vocationally oriented evaluation. The scope of the assessment will be comprehensive to assist each individual who is referred for this service to reach sound vocational and career conclusions. The contractor must have facilities that are physically located in the listed above. Proposals located outside these areas will not be considered. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. The SIC 8331 applies to this solicitation and the small business standard is $5.0 million. Contract period is one (1) year from date of award with two (2) one year options to renew. Anticipated issue date on about November 18, 1998 and closing date for receipt of proposals will be (30) days thereafter.
