The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration of the Department of Commerce/Boulder Laboratories (DOC/BL), 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO, has a requirement for mail and shuttle services. Contractor shall provide mail and shuttle services for the DOC/BL complex, within the city limits of Boulder, including laboratories at the University of Colorado East Campus (UOCEC), 3100 and 3150 Marine St., the NCAR North facility, 3400 Mitchell Lane, the University of Colorado Campus (UOCC) and various, local U.S. Postal Service locations. NOTE: Future requirement: In approximately March 1999, employees located the UOCEC will move to the new NOAA building located on the DOC/BL complex. During this move (which will take approximately 3-4 months), services will be required at both the UOCEC and the new NOAA building. Once the NOAA employees have completely relocated, mail services will no longer be necessary at the UOCEC. Shuttle service may change. For determining cost and personnel requirements, prospective bidders should use the current level of service. Modifications may be made to the contract during the time of the move and after the move is complete. The contract will be for a base year of nine (9) months (from January 1, 1999 thru September 30, 1999) with 4 one (1) year options.
