Firm Fixed Price Contract for Construction of a Car Wash Facility, with two manual bays and one automated bay, at Beale AFB, California. This proposed contract is Unrestricted JOB DESCRIPTION. Sources Sought. SIC Code 1542. Sources in the Northern California and Nevada area are being sought to design and build a covered 3-bay vehicle car wash facility located within the cantonment area of Beale AFB, CA. The facility will include one automated bay, two manual-wand bays, and two uncovered islands for vacuum service. The equipment supporting the automated and manual bays will be part of the project and will be manufactured and installed by Mark VII. Design files of a similar car wash facility will be made available as part of the Request for Proposal(RFP). The design effort will include site adaption of the provided design, seismic upgrade as necessary, inclusion of the automated car wash equipment, and all site work including access and paving, utility services, siting and orienting the facility/features, traffic flow/control indicators, drainage, ensuring effluent/chemistry discharge to the sanitary sewer system remains below environmentally sensitive ceiling thresholds, relocation of an existing overhead electrical power line traversing the project site, minimal landscaping, and associated features. Estimated range is between $100,000.00 abd $500,000.00. Responses should include the following information: A list of car wash facilities constructed the the past five years, description of facility and location; Three references for similar work completed; Description of company's ability to complete a Design/Build contract.
