Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT -- LEAD ABATEMENT FOR VARIOUS COUNTIES WITHIN NEW YORK AND TRIBORO POSTAL DISTRICTS SOL 332495-99-A-0022 DUE 120198 POC For Queens, Kings & Richmond counties -- Robert Skrivanek -- 718-529-7220; For New York & Bronx -- Robert Chin -- 212-330-3140 Indefinite Quantity Contracts resulting from this solicitation will provide for lead based paint removal, abatement, repair and/or encapsulation, and related services. The work may be performed at various owned or leased postal facilities in the following areas: NEW YORK and TRIBORO POSTAL DISTRICTS: Counties of New York, Bronx, Kings, Queens and Richmond. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, the Postal Service reserves the right to award multiple contracts. Contractors must have a minimum of three years experience in lead based paint removal, abatement, repair and/or encapsulation work and related services, and must possess the capability of working at least three to four concurrent jobs. Contractors must possess all proper certifications as required by federal, state and local laws. Competency requirement must be submitted with your proposal. Failure to do so may adversely affect consideration of your proposal. Offers will consist of a single multiplier. The multiplier must contain the offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. The multiplier will be applicable to each and every item of work listed in the Unit Price Schedule set forth in the specifications. The initial contract value is $1,500,000.00. The contract may be modified in increments of $500,000.00. The maximum cumulative total dollar value of all Work Orders during the two year period may not exceed $3,000,000.00. The total contract may not exceed two (2) years. The maximum amount of any one Work Order is $250,000.00. Specific work orders will be issued by the Contracting Officer in accordance with the Technical Specs/Unit Price Schedule. The Postal Service guarantees no specific number of Work Orders. There is no guaranteed minimum. MBE/WBE participation is encouraged. Award will be made in accordance with Section M of the solicitation. Solicitation packages will be available on or about November 3, 1998. Requests for solicitation packages must be accompanied by a company check or USPS Money Order in the amount of $100.00 made payable to the USPS Disbursing Officer.
