NASA/LaRC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Numerical Modeling of the Entrainment and Detrainment Rates of Aircraft Wake Vortices Embedded in Turbulent Thermally Stratified Environments. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 8731 and 500 employees, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 1-168-DCO.1197 is on or about October 29, 1998, with an anticipated quote due date of on or about November 16, 1998.
