The United States Postal Service (USPS)requires one-time production of a rear loading through-the-wall mounted Stamp Sheetlet Vendor (Model SSV-1) for nationwide deployment to selected USPS locations. A USPS prepared design/performance purchase description is the basic requirements document for this purchase. In addition to the SSV-1, this purchase will also include several logistics support elements such as site spare parts kits, depot spare parts kit, training course, parts provisioning documentation, parts provisioning converence, depot repair documentation, depot repair for spare parts, and technical data package. This is the first production design purchase of SSVs. Operational objectives for the SSV-1 are that, as-built, it must be hardware and software compatible with the yet-to-be developed Vending Management Informatino System and the Vending Activity Reporting System (VMIS/VARS)and the Universal Card Acceptance (UCA) subsystem. Award will be based on best value with past performance and technical factors being more important than price.
