This procurement is to provide Commercial Facilities Management Services at the Southern Maryland District Courthouse, 6500 Cherrywood Lane, Greenbelt, Maryland. The contractor will provide all the management, administrative, and technical support for the accomplishment of the following services: facilities management, operation and maintenance of mechanical/electrical equipment, architectural/structural and sustaining maintenance/repair, janitorial service, snow removal, landscape maintenance, trash and debris removal services, reimbursable services and utility work. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 8744. The initial period is for one (1) year and the Government shall have the unilateral option to extend services for four (4) additional consecutive periods of (1) year each. Service under the anticipated awarded contract is scheduled to start on or about August 1, 1999. Services will be procured utilizing two-step sealed bid procedures.
