intends to issue a sole source contract to Allison Engine Company, P.O.
Box 420, S.C. U20, Indianapolis, Indiana, to convert the current
Hellenic Air Force and Royal Thai Navy A7E/TF41 engine monitoring
system PDP-11 ground station to a microsoft windows/IBM compatible
personal computer based system. Allison shall also provide the
associated user manuals and systems training. Delivery of all items is
required within 12 months after date of contract award. As the
original manufacturer of the TF-41 engines, Allison is the only
contractor with the required proprietary data and knowledge of the
