The Library of Congress anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the placement of new and renewal subscriptions to single or multiple addresses for domestic and foreign serials and publications and for related services. Services will be used by federal libraries and information centers nationwide. Optional Services may include but are not limited to: Fixed Price Invoicing, Average Price Index, Journal Check-In, Missing Issues, and Electronic Data Exchange. This solicitation is divided into three LOTs. LOT 1 -- General Services; LOT 2 -- Optional Services; and LOT 3 -- Specialized Electronic Access Services. Vendor must qualify under LOT 1 in order to provide services under LOT 2 and/or 3. RFP S-LC99-015 will be available for downloading from the World -Wide Web on/or about December 15, 1998.
