International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Office of
Resource Management, has a requirement for an individual to provide
logistics advisory services at the American Embassy, Narcotics Affairs
Section (NAS), in support of the Central American Programs in
Guatemala. The purpose of this position is to provide technical
assistance visits to supported countries and works with areas of
eradication, interdiction, training, communication and control, port
security, aerial operations, air-mobile operations, and investigation.
Arranges for logistical support with NAS personnel in inventory
management, communications control and logistics. Advises the NAS
Director and host country Embassy contacts on appropriate types of
levels of support needed to initiate and sustain NAS-funded projects.
Assists in preparing the annual country budget request, end-use
monitoring report, and International Narcotics Control Strategy Report.
This assignment is for one year with the option to extend the term.
PSCs are treated on par with other USG employees. Minimum
qualifications include: completion of a University degree program in
related field is required; five years of progressively employment
experience in law enforcement required; three years of general
administrative management; at least one year of which should include
inventory or property management experience; speak, understand, read
and write in English and Spanish, (minimum FSI level 3/3 preferred).
SF-171 required to apply. The GS grade equivalent is GS-13. This
requirement is for individuals only. A PSC will not be awarded to a
