LAND ACQUISITION AND TRAINING LAND MANAGEMENT The Directorate of Contracting, National Training Center, Fort Irwin, CA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with CHARIS Professional Services, Co., Hemet, CA, to provide project direction, management and technical guidance required in support of Fort Irwin Land Expansion efforts covering the period December 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999, with four, one-year options, to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2003. This is not a request for proposal and there is no solicitation available. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. Firms that can provide the required services described above are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer. This is not a request for competitive quotes. All responses received within 5 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
