Opportunities Expo at the Department of Health and Human Services
Thursday, November 19, 1998 On Thursday, November 19, 1998, the
Department of Health and Human Services Office of Small and
Disadvantaged Business Utilization will be hosting a one-day, on-site
Regional Networking Breakfast and Procurement Opportunities Exposition.
The day will consist of seminars, vendor displays and government
counseling tables. The following government agencies will be invited to
have a counseling table: Department of Energy, Library of Congress,
Department of Transportation, Department of Interior, Department of
Justice, Department of Treasury, Department of Commerce, Department of
Housing and Urban Development, Department of Food and Drug
Administration, National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease
Control, Executive Office of the President, NASA, FEMA, USIA, GSA, SBA,
Department of Education, Voice of America, and the OSDBU Office of the
Department of Healthand Human Services. Some of the appropriate
technologies to exhibit include: Internet/Intranet, Multi- media,
Communications Systems, LAN/WAN, Software Development, Electronic
Forms, Office Equipment, Furniture, Cabling, Software Engineering,
Workstations, Laptops, CD-Rom, Video Teleconferencing, Client Server,
Presentation Systems, Project Management Software, Virtual Reality,
CAD/CAM, Training, Data Security, Medical Research, Office Automation,
Storage Devices, Real Time, Imaging, CASE Tools, Removable Hard
Drives, Pen Based Computing, Tape Backup Systems, Client Server
Applications, Telecommunications, etc.. The seminar schedule is to
follow 7:30 -- 8:30 a.m. -- Check in/breakfast served -- 9:00 a.m. to

a.m. -- "Subcontracting & Mentor Prot g Observations." 10:00 a.m. --
