Denard, Contract Specialist, (703)607-6904 The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to issue a request for quotation for storing, handling, moving, maintaining, repairing, and assembling/disassembling the DISA Exhibit. This is a simplified acquisition and a small business set aside under SIC code 7389 with a size standard of $5.0M. Tentative travel schedule for this requirement is 7 sites located in the DC/Baltimore area as well as 1 trip each to San Diego, California and Salt Lake City, Utah. Contractor storage site must be no more than 85 miles (round trip) from the DISA Headquarters, Arlington, Virginia. The RFQ will contain a detailed Statement of Work (SOW) and wil be released on or about 20 November 1998. Copies of the Solicitation and SOW must be requested no later than 19 November 1998. Offerors shall provide along with quotes, convincing information regarding past performance and technical expertise in handling large exhibits (2,820 lbs).
