Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, Alabama intends to make a sole source award to the University of Tennessee Management Development Center to provide all services, personnel, material, audio visual aids, training aids, travel and lodging necessary to administer and present a course of instruction for sessions on Project Team Building. This is not a formal solicitation. The synopsis of intent is to make a sole source award and is not a request for quotes. Contractors who can provide the U. S. Army Engineering and Support Center with the above services are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response which includes, as a minimum, the proposed credentials and qualifications, any applicable pricing data and any additional information indicating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement. The contractor shall provide a team of two instructors who are qualified by education and experience in the professional disciplines to which the subject matter relates. Each instructor shall have had 500 hours of teaching experience during the last 5 years in the following subjects: (1) management of technical employees, scientists and engineers; (2) management of technology based organizations; (3) management of organizational change and behavior; (4) conflict management and negotiating; and (5) strategic management and business philosophies. All responsible sources may respond to this synopsis, and all such responses will be considered by the agency. The Standard Industrial Code applicable to this acquisition is 8299.
