This is an unrestricgted procurement for the packing, over-packing and/or crating of chemicals, reagents and solvents to be moved from two EPA laboratories located in Annapolis, Md. and Beltsville, Md. to a final destination at the Environmental Science Center located at Fort Meade, Md. All packing containers, crating and padding materials and vehicles required for the safe transportation of chemicals is the responsibility of the contractor. It is the responsibility of the contractor to obtain all necessary clearances, permits and licenses and that applicable Federal, State and Local transportation and environmental regulations are followed. Chemical hauler shall be responsible for only chemicals, reagents and solvents in original manufacturer containers. No wastes (hazardous or non-hazardous) will be transported by the contractor. A complete inventory will be included with the RFQ. Chemicals are required to be packed and moved during the week of January 4, 1999. A tentative date of a site visit to inspect the facilities and inventory is November 24, 1998.
