Winland, Contracting Officer, 228-377-3642 The intent of this project consist of general repairs to approximately 1400 military housing units at Keesler AFB, MS as a result of damages sustained by Hurricane Georges. Types of work include, but are not limited to, storm-type repairs, i.e., exterior-siding repair, door and window repair, painting, fence and appurtennance repairs, gutters, and flashing repair; interior-wall ceiling repair, trim and cabinet repair, HVAC system repair, electrical repair and lights, insulation, flooring, doors, and minor plumbing. The project does NOT INCLUDE roofing, asbestos abatement or lead paint abatement. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This action will be issued on an unrestricted basis. Therefore, replies to this office are requested from all interested business concerns. The estimated bid opening date is 17 Dec 98.
