This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation of this requirement, quotations are being requested and a written quotation will not be issued. This quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-06. The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure nine (9) each video surveillance kits, hard wired, microwave video frequency 1.8GH, DTC Communications, Inc. part number DVX-100; two (2) each video surveillance kits, wireless, microwave video frequency: 141.275MHZ, DTC Communications Inc., part number DVX-200; and one (1) each briefcase receiver-recorder, 8-channel receiver with Marantz Model PMD 221 recorder option, two channels (crystals) for frequencies 141.275 MHZ and 143.725 MHZ. The above cited manufacturer model numbers are known to meet the specifications, however, they do not constitute the establishment of a standard of quality, nor are to be considered the only product which will meet the specifications. Offerors proposing to supply Manufacturers/Models other than those specified in this notice are required to submit, with their quotations, specification data sheets of proposed models sufficient to enable the Government to determine their technical acceptability with the specifications stated above. Required delivery is 30 days ARO. FOB Destination, USACIL, Forest Park, Georgia. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
