The proposed = modification will provide additional radiology services at the Naval Medi= cal = Center Portsmouth until the new hospital radiology department has been = completed. Base period of performance will be from 1 January through 30 = September 1999, with options for an additional period as needed through 3= 1 = October 1999. FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to negotiate = on a = sole source basis with Medical Technologies of Hampton Roads. This firm = is = considered the only source capable of providing services, which meet all = of the = Navy=92s requirements, by the date services are required.
