This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure this item under the authority of U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. George B. Woodcock & Co., Chatsworth, CA, as the designer, developer and sole manufacture of the support equipment to be acquired, is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary for the manufacture and the design/application of the support equipment involved. Firms that recognize and produce the required item are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
