INTERESTED PARTIES FOR THE FOLLOWING WORK: 1.Disassembly, receipt
inspection, cleaning, material condition assessment, refurbishment,
reassembly, pressure testing, and operational testing of Government
furnished canned (hermetically sealed) secondary propulsion motors in
accordance with Advanced Equipment Repair Program Refurbishment
Instruction No. 2460-012-0653,rev A, dated October 08 98. 2.Development
of detailed piece part drawings and process procedures to support the
refurbishment of these motors. a. The subject Secondary Propulsion
Motors are 325HP, 440VAC submersible motors which operate in seawater
and are subject to the depth excursions experienced by US Navy
submarines. b. Responsible offerors must have (or be able to obtain)
clearance to safeguard confidential information. The contractor must
have a Quality Program/Inspection System conforming to MIL-I-45208,
MIL-Q-9858, ANSI/ISO/ASQC Q9001, or ANSI/ISO/ASQC Q9002 . The
contractor must have a Calibration System conforming to MIL-STD-45662
