This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04700-98-T-2126. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-03. The Air Force Flight Test Center has a requirement for 1,260 pairs of #918 and 1,080 pairs of #718 Bates Lites boots. These are steel-toed, durashocks 8" tropical boots, made of black leather/cordura, with insole of full cushion removable footbed with axidyne polymer; outsole is made of durashocks intrepid polyurethane. Sizes vary from 7EW to 15M in men, and from 5M to 11W in women. Acceptance: 30 days after receipt of order. FOB: Destination. The following provisions and clauses apply: Provision 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer.
