Research Opportunities in Biology-Inspired Technologies NASA Research Announcement (NRA): The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Office of Life and Microgravity Sciences and Applications solicits scientific and technical proposals based on innovative and novel concepts, which are largely inspired by biology, and the demonstration of the proof of such concepts. This NRA will focus mainly on two topical areas: 1) Smart Materials and Structures Inspired by Biology, and 2) Human-Centered Systems. Proposals requested by this announcement may be for ground-based research investigations. This solicitation is open to all categories of U.S. and foreign governmental and private sector organizations, agencies, and institutions.
