Agency (DTRA) has a requirement to provide four types of CISCO Hardware
Maintenance for the Agency's CISCO Routers located throughout agency
CONUS and OCONUS locations to support the Agency Local Area Network.
The locations for the maintenance of the CISCO Routers are at DTRA
facilities in Dulles and Chantilly VA; Magna, UT; Rhien Mein AB,
Germany; Yokota AB Japan; Moscow, Russia; and Travis AFB, CA. The
maintenance shall consist of the following types: SMARTnet 8x5xNext
Business Day (NBD), SMARTnet 8x5x4, SMARTnet 24x7x4 and SMARTnet
Onsite. The maintenance shall include the required software
maintenance, advance replacement of hardware and technical support
required for self-maintenance and on-site services. The SMARTnet
8x5xNBD maintenance services shall provide 24x7x365 access to CISCO
Technical Assistance Center (TAC) with customer-driven problem
prioritization, major software and maintenance releases, updates of
product documentation (both compact disc and printedcopies), and
next-day delivery (Monday through Saturday) of replacement parts (next
business day in Europe). SMARTnet 8x5x4 shall include all features of
SMARTnet 8x5xNBD, plus a faster response time for replacement parts.
Response time shall be four (4) business-hour response for advanced
replacement parts from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Monday
through Friday, excluding Cisco-observed holidays. SMARTnet 24x7x4
shall include all features provided with SMARTnet, plus the fastest
response time for replacement parts, anytime. Four-hour (4) response
time for advance replacement parts twenty-four (24) hours a day, 7 days
a week, including Cisco-observed holidays. SMARTnet Onsite 24x7x4 shall
provide all services under SMARTnet 24x7x4. Four (4) hour on-site
service and parts, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including Cisco and
locally observed holidays for onsite hardware maintenance. Onsite
services shall provide all parts, labor and material required for
hardware maintenance. Critical problem escalationand installation of
all mandatory engineering and factory change notices shall be provided.
The RFQ is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside in
accordance with FAR 19.502-2. The SIC code for this procurement is
7378. Requests for the RFQ must be in writing and must cite the RFQ
