The Information Resource Center/Library is currently located at Building 40 at WRAIR and will be relocating in the Spring of 1999 to Building 503 at the Forest Glen Annex located in Silver Springs, MD. The contractor will be required to provide the following services within the Government's facility: maintenance of collections, supplying shelf-ready cataloged material as needed, distribution of collection materials, performing manual and on-line specialized bibliographic literature searches, providing timely provision of documents on demand, and adding date to the serials and acquisition modules of the in-house MAXCESS automated library system. Continuous core capability requirements are for the positions of Library Technician, Technical Information Specialist and Library Aide. Services may also be required, on an optional basis for CatalogerLibrarian, Acquisitions Librarian, Reference Librarian, Library Technician, Technical Information Specialist and Library Aide. The government anticipates awarding a Firm-fixed price contract with a base year and four (4) option years. The SIC code for this action is 8231, a size standard of $5,000,000.00.
