S -- LINEN/LAUNDRY RENTAL/EXCHANGE AND MAT SERVICE SOL DECA01-99-R-0012 DUE 123198 POC Contract Specialist Pamela Croll (804) 734-8647 (Site Code DECA01) The Defense Commissary Agency has a requirement for linen/laundry rental/exchange dry cleaning and mat service for the commissaries at Hickman AFB, Kanahoe Bay, Pearl Harbor, and Fort Shafter Hawaii. The items to be acquired under this solicitation include smocks, frocks, butcher pants, mats, rugs, coats, shirts and trousers. Individual requirements by commissary will be specified in the solicitation. The contractor shall be required to provide the items in a variety of mens' and womens' sizes. The contractor shall be required to pick up from each store a minimum of once each week all soiled garments/mats and drop off clean replacement garments/mats at that time. The period of performance will be April 1, 1999 through May 31, 2000, and includes 4 one year option periods. There is a possibility for multiple awards. The Standard Industrial Classification Number is 7213 and the business size standard is 10.5 million. This acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside.
