The Evaluation Factors as submitted in the original announcement are
MODIFIED as follows: PAST PERFORMANCE GC (45%): The Offeror must have
satisfactory performance as a General Construction (GC) Contractor
responsible for the construction of at least three (3) new construction
projects, within the past ten (10) years. Of the three new construction
projects, one must be at least a chemistry and/or biological lab
project and one must be a government project. EXPERIENCE GC (25%): The
Offeror must demonstrate its experience as a General Construction (GC)
Contractor responsible for the construction of at least one (1) office
lab project, within the past ten (10) years, which is comparable in
nature, type, and complexity to the project in this solicitation, and
meets all three (3) of the following characteristics: (a) New
Construction was for an office lab building including structural,
electrical, mechanical, plumbing, architectural and fire protection
systems. (b) Construction work was performed in an Urban or
Metropolitan site. (c) The project met one (1) of the following
criteria: (i) The building size was not less than 200,000 gross square
feet, or (ii) The total construction cost was not less than $40.0
million. QUALIFICATIONS OF MAJOR SUBCONTRACTORS (20%): HVAC
Subcontractors: Total subcontract award not less than $15.0 million;
Concrete and Framing Subcontractors: Total subcontract award not less
than $5.0 million; Electrical Subcontractors: Total subcontract award
not less than $5.0 million; Casework Subcontractors: Total subcontract
award not less than $3.0 million; Control Subcontractors: Total
subcontract award not less than $1.0 million. SUBCONTRACTING PLAN
(10%). A site visit for this project is being held on Friday, November
6, 1998, at the construction site located at 5100 Paint Branch Parkway
