The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) anticipates issuance of a competitive solicitation (Two-Step Sealed Bidding) for paging service for DOE Headquarters personnel in the Washington DC metro area. Service must be nationwide. Both numeric and alphanumeric service is required, with nominal hardware replacement provisions (leasing arrangement). The contract is projected as a multi-year Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) on a firm-fixed-price basis. The initial step will be technical proposals and qualification by Live Test Demonstration at selected locations in the metro DC area only; step two will be competition among qualified bidders on the basis of price only.
