necessary to perform dockside repairs at contractor facility including
but not limited to the following base and options items: (1) Clean and
inspect diesel fuel tanks, (2) Inspect and test air receivers, (3)
Install new tow facing system for 130-barge and 65-foot or 75-foot
tender, (4) Inspect, overhaul, and test barge boat davit, (5) Overhaul
air capstan, (6) Inspect, overhaul, and test appleton crane, (7) Clean
and inspect sewage tank, (8) Renew vermiculite coating in lazarette and
sewage hold compartments, (9) Provide temporary logistics, and (10)
additional temporary logistics. Vessel's homeport is located in
Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The vessel's availability date is 8 March 1999. The
performance period is TWENTY-EIGHT (28) calendar days. This place of
performance is geographically restricted to the Western rivers of the
United States, meaning navigable portions of the Mississippi River and
its tributaries above mile 0 of the Lower Mississippi River. Navigable
tributaries of the Mississippi River include only the waterways within
the areas of jurisdiction of Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Facilities
as described in Light List Volume V (COMTINST M16502.5), and the
Tennessee Tombighee Waterway to the mouth of the Mobile River. This
includes protected portions of the Intra Coastal Waterway connected to
the "Western Rivers," but specifically excludes unprotected or open
waters such as Mobile Bay, Lake Borne, or the Gulf of Mexico. Vessel is
a 75 foot "C" Class River Tender with a 130 Foot Barge. All reference

Norfolk, VA 23510-9102. A non-refundable charge of $100.00 is required
in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the
U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All businesses, large and
small, are encouraged to submit bids for the subject requirements.
