The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to procure contracting services for a personnel monitoring program. The contractor shall provide a total of 4,500 whole body dosimeters to NRC which are capable of detecting beta-gamma radiation. The dosimeters shall be labeled with a unique serial number and the assigned wear period and shall be processed in a program that is accredited by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program. The period of performance will be for one year with four 1-year option periods. Proposals for this requirement may be submitted by all business concerns, i.e., large businesses, small businesses, and small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.
