Additional Description: The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk Detachment -- Washington D.C. has a requirement for Navy Medical Verification Services on behalf of the Navy Recruiting Command, Arlington, VA. FISC intends to conduct a full and open competition for a Firm Fixed Price contract for support services by conducting medical verification services for the following: Physicians, Thoracic/Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Foreign Medical Graduate Thoracic/Cardiothoracic Surgeons, and Foreign Medical Graduates. The contractor will verify on a primary source basis the accuracy of selected, essential elements to formulate the of a comprehensive credentials file. The contractor will develop a credentials portfolio that validates each physician's background, expertise, and experience. This will result in a credentials portfolio, which is combined with other application forms for the review by a medical qualification board as part of the process for selecting applicants in the Navy/Naval reserve.
