The Navy requires manufacture of one lot of bolt carrier piece parts consisting of 275 each bolt carriers, 115 each rear insert carriers, 140 each firing pin heads, 550 each firing pins, and 210 each locking rollers. These items are components of the Marine Corps Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon rocket launcher spotting rifle and will be manufactured in accordance with the Government's Statement of Work and various Department of the Navy United States Marine Corps drawings and assembled in accordance with drawing #82A5027A5138. Special Production Testing and Production Test Reports will be required from the Contractor. A fixed price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is anticipated a formal Request for Quote will be posted on Crane's homepage at http://www.crane.navy.mil/Suply/fs_acq.htm. If technical package is inappropriate for Crane's homepage, a formal Request for Quote will be issued. This procurement is exclusively reserved for Small Business Concerns in accordance with FAR 52.219-6; the applicable Standard Industrial Classification is 3499 and the size standard is 500 employees. FAR Part 12 procedures will not apply. Initial delivery quantity of 100 within eight weeks after contract award with a quantity of 60 per month thereafter is required FOB destination to NWSC Crane.
