NOAA is planning a CFO Audit Conference for March 3-5, 1999, to develop action plans for compliance with the CFO Act. They are requesting on a sole source basis from Landsdowne Resort to provide lodging accommodations. It is required that the accommodations provide break out rooms for all of the pertinent sessions being held. It is equally important to have this conference off-site to effectively conduct brainstorming discussions without interruptions from the office. It is anticipated that employees will attend the pertinent break out sessions which require discussions to go on beyond normal working hours. In addition, the site shall be within proximity of the Dulles International Airport to further accommodate out of town guests. The meeting package will include the following: (1) deluxe guest room accommodations, three meals per day, continuous refreshment breaks, conference room planning mgr; VCR, monitor, 35MM slide projector, overhead projector, flipchart with markers, white board with markers, podium and microphone. The meeting package is for up to 105 participants. This is a notice of intent to award to Lansdowne Resort. Award will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
