This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this Purchase Order is to determine (1) community perception of risk for acquiring travel-related illnesses during visits to their home countries; 2) current sources of travel health information used by community members; 3) reasons for non adherence with travel health recommendation in these communities; 4) real and perceived barriers to adherence with travel health recommendations; and 5) information sources and channels through which travel health messages could be effectively delivered to this population. The period of performance is 12 months. This is a simplified acquisition, 100% small business set-aside, issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), 1999Q00033.
