D -- AUTOMATIC DATA PROCESSING AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES SOL DCA100-99-R-4016 DUE 122898 POC Barbara Janitis, Contract Specialist, (703)607-6913 or Karen Erickson, Contracting Officer, (703)607-6907 The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to enter into negotiations with Inter-National Research Institute, Inc., Reston, VA on a non-competitive basis to provide technical support in producing Version 4.0 and future versions of the Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment (DII COE). The Government intends to award a contract for an initial twelve (12) month period, with options for two (2) additional consecutive twelve (12) month periods. Contract efforts will be focused in four areas: maturation support, engineering process support, user and developer support, and advanced information technology services transition and insertion. More specifically, technical support to mature and exend the DII COE infrastructure and architecture and increase accessibility; produce and support Global Command and Control System (GCCS) and Global Combat Support System (GCSS) configuration definitions and mission applications; and support the transfer throughout Government and industry of theknowledge needed to extend and use the COE and integrate applications into the COE environment. Requirements include providing maturation support, identification of capability and tool requirements; support for existing and emerging technologies; expanded multi-platform support; integration standards and documentation; version integration support; engineering process support; DII COE, GCCS, GCSS architecture support; support for C4I system interfaces; development and documentation of Application Programmer Interfaces (APIs); Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) components; support for problem identification and resolution; COE Online Repository System (CSRS) segment support; segmentation training; government integration training; user/developer training; and user technical support. The requirements also include supporting the development of interfaces to legacy systems as well as the integration of advanced capabilities into the GCCS, GCSS, and DII COE.See Numbered Note(s) 22.
