This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-99-Q-310008. This solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. The standard industrial classification code is 2741 and the size standard is 500 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide a Department of Defense Information System (DODIS) which shall specifically provide the following information in electronic format via the Internet to the best extent commercially available (commercial item): *Military / Performance / Detail Specifications, * Military Standards, *DOD-adapted Non-Government / Industry Specifications and Standards, * Federal Specifications and Standards, *Military Handbooks, * Qualified Products / Manufacturer's List (QPLs/QMLs), * Other DOD Aeronautical / Design Standards, Specifications Bulletins. Service must allow five(5) simultaneous users, and must allow user to access the information via the Internet from any location in which Internet access is available, worldwide. Contractor shall also provide a quotation for the above service/ product for ten (10) simultaneous users also. Contractor shall specify the electronic format that the product may be viewed on the Wold Wide Web for the quotation provided. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
