S -- Remove Trash and Construction Debris Services SOL SSA- RFQ-99-3718 DUE 122298 POC Dorothy Wilson Tel: (410) 965- 8083 The Social Security Administration requires the services of a contractor to provide all labor, material and supervision to remove trash, construction debris, and to provide all trash compactors and dumpsters Services at four locations at the Social Security Administration (Headquarters),Security Boulevard, Baltimore, MD. The contractor will provide one 42 cubic yard container with compactor at each location for scheduled pickups and one 30 cubic yard, open top container for each location for unscheduled pickups. A site visit is scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, December 10, 1998 at the Social Security Administration, Altmeyer Building Main Lobby, 6401 Security Blvd., Baltimore, MD. The Government intends to award a firm fix price contract with a period of performance of a base year (12 months) with four 1-year option periods. This acquisition will be subject to part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regarding the acquisition of Commercial Items, to FAR Part 13.5 regarding the Application of Special Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, and to the Principles of past performance evaluation as covered by FAR 15.304. The Government will evaluate quotes for the "best value" based on price, experience, and past performance. The acquisition will also be subject to the conditions of the Service Contract Act. Solicitation NO. SSA-RFQ-99-3718 will be available on or about November 27, 1998. The RFQ will be available for download in electronic form on SSA's Internet Home Page at URL http://www.ssa.gov/oag/oagl.htm.
