20407 S -- DATA ACQUISITION MONITORS TO PROVIDE ELECTRICAL USAGE DATA DUE
121198 POC Amy Hudson, Public Utilities Specialist, (202) 708-9010 The
General Services Administration's National Capitol Region, Energy
Center, and Mid-Atlantic Region request a response from companies that
have the interest and capabilities for supplying Data Acquisition
Monitors at 10 specified sites as a Pilot Test. This is a Request for
Information only. No solicitation is available. The Data Acquisition
Monitors shall provide load profiles for each site through real time
data. The load profiles should include at a minimum: 1) maximum peak in
KW; 2) least KW provided; 3) what time of the day did we receive the
maximum and minimum amounts of electricity; 4) on and off peak hours;
5) load factors; 6) quantity of electricity used by season and by
month; 7) between what hours (Am and PM) are the biggest increases and
decreases in consumption. This information is to be made available
through the Internet. The Web Site should be password protected and
accessible 24 hours a day. It must provide real time and historical
data. It should be downloadable and have the ability to be used in
Excel and Windows compatible software. It should have the capability of
aggregating sites to view load profiles and provide load forecasting.
A Web Site link for local weather conditions would be helpful. The
intent of this request for information is to find companies with the
ability to provide the above mentioned data. Offerors who believe they
can satisfy the requirements must address their ability in writing.
Vendors shall forward: 1.) a written statement of capability, including
detailed technical information and other technical literature
demonstrating the ability to meet the requirements; and 2) a cost and
services breakdown for entire package of 10 sites and internet
services. Responses are due NLT December 11, 1998. For further
