S -- PROVIDE BUFFET DINNER MEALS SOL DADW35-99-T-0214 DUE 011499 POC Contract Specialist, Vicki Walker (703)806-4466, Contracting Officer, Gloria Daws (703)806-4442 The US Army Military District of Washington Acquisition Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to negotiate on a Sole Source Basis, A Firm-Fixed Price Requirements Contract with the Officer's Club, Building 20, Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060 to provide dinner meals for up to approximately 176 Army Management Staff College students, Monday through Friday evenings, excluding Federal Holidays. The performance period will be from 1 March 1999 through 28 February 2000 with four option years if exercised by the Government. Each meal shall include a choice of three (3) entrees, choice of two (2) steamed vegetables, salad bar, soup, bread, fruits, dessert and beverages. Meals shall be nutritious and prepared using low fat, low calorie ingredients. Special meals shall be prepared based on individual medical requirements (i.e. food allergies, diabetics). Adequate space should also exist so that 165 students can sit and dine in the same area. The Contractor shall be required to arrange transportation for 165 students, feed them a nutritious meal, and return them to Knadle Hall, Fort Belvoir, Virginia within one (1) hours to allow sufficient time for study or participation in an exercise program (training).
