Contractor shall provide professional services as a COMPUTER LITERACY INSTRUCTOR to inmates confined at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Allenwood, Pennsylvania. Some responsibilities of the contractor include but are not limited to: Classroom instruction on the following applications; computer keyboard operations, Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT) also preparing a competency based curriculum for the program. The contract consists of an estimated 200 sessions per contract year. A session is 3 hours in length. The contractor will usually work 5 sessions per week. Classes will be held 40 weeks per year. Performance will usually be on Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Performance will be at the FCI Allenwood Education Department. Contractor services may not exceed 30 hours per week. Contract shall run from approximately January 1, 1999 for one calendar year, with a possibility of four option years. Security investigation/clearance is required.
