20 -- TYPE 18 RADAR ABSORBING MATERIAL (RAM) FLAT TILE SOL N63394-99-R-1213 DUE 122998 POC Contract Specialist, KEN KRUSE, (805) 228-0611, CONTRACTING OFFICER, ELKE FOSS, (805) 228-0617 The Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed price supply contract for Type 18 Radar Absorbing Material (RAM) Flat Tile (24" x 24"). Base quantity of 2,600 ea with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA), Class II with delivery of the first 500 tiles in 30 days after either approval of First Article Test (FAT) or waiver of FAT. 700 tiles in 60 days, 700 tiles in 90 days, and 700 tiles in 120 days. Additional option quantities of 18,300 tiles with PSA, Class II and 8,550 without PSA, Class I. Delivery of Option Items to commence 60 days after final delivery of the last 700 tiles. Delivery of Quanities and types of Option Tiles to be determined. FOB Destination Port Hueneme, CA. Current U.S. Secret and appropriate facility clearance required. Foreign companies are advised that in accordance with the National Disclosure Policy, the information involved for full performance of this contracting effort is not releasable to foreign entities unless procedures are in place to negate foreign involvements. Tiles provided under N63394-99-T-0034 will be used for evaluation purposes for award of contract under this solicitation. Only the companies that submitted proposals under request for quotes N63394-99-T-0034, issued 10 November 1998, under the simplified acquisition procedure will be considered eligible for proposing under this solicitation.
