is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a
Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated
provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition
Circular 97-05. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is
for this product is 3537 and the applicable size standard is 500
employees. The Small Business Administration (SBA) has determined that
there are no small business manufacturers or processors in the Federal
market, and as such as granted a class waiver so that a nonmanufacturer
does not have to furnish the product of a small business. The "List of
Approved NonManufacturer Waivers" can be located at the SBA's
Procurment Automated Source System (PASS) at
http://www.sbaonline.sba.gov/GC/nonmanuf.html. This procurement is
set-aside for small business. Provide one forklift with 20,000 lb.
Capacity at 24 inch load center with hydraulic fork positioner,
hydraulic side shifting forks, tilting mast, 72 inch forks, maximum
width not to exceed 103 inches. Maximum mast height not to exceed 12
feet with forks 40 inches off the ground The maximum height cannot
exceed this requirement due to the ground clearance of the HC-130
aircraft. The forklift must include the following items: two (2) door
cab with heater, defroster fan, front and rear wipers. Gauges to be
included are fuel, water temperature, oil pressure, low brake fluid and
our meter. Light package to include two (2) forward work lights, tail,
brake, back-up and amber strobe light. Forklift to be diesel powered
with three speed transmission and backup alarm. Direction control
forward and reverse. Package to include technical manuals and spare
parts book. Quote to include shipping to Seattle, Washington. Delivery
is required 90 calendar days after contract award. Forklift is to be
marked for Commanding Officer, USCG Air Station Sitka, 611 Airport
Road, Sitka, Alaska 99835. Acceptance is at Air Station Sitka, Alaska.
Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of the
proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for the
non-cost factors. Offerors submit information to show that their
qualifications meet or exceed the standards required. Offerors are
