Desktop (personal computers, scientific workstations, peripherals etc.) and General (file, Internet, data base, and special use servers, minicomputers, etc.) computing. 2. Network (local area, wide area and metropolitan) operations and maintenance (about 1,200 nodes). 3. Computer Center operations. 4. Application software development and maintenance. 5. Help Desk operation. 6. Telecommunications (voice, video, and data). 7. Unclassified computer security. The contract term including options will be five years. A firm fixed price is expected for most of the effort with the ability to issue fixed rate task orders as appropriate.
