Services shall include software updates, User Group Support, Semi Annual Preventive Maintenance inspections and general maintenance and repairs. Accessment of liquidated damages shall be part of the contract. The contract term shall be for a base period from date of award thru September 30, 1999 plus (4) option years. The solicitation shall be issued in the commercial item format as a Request for Proposals. Award shall be based on specific evaluation factors listed in the solicitation package. The tentative closing date for receipt of proposals is November 30, 1998.
